How to make your family portrait more special this Christmas

A Merry Christmas starts with family … and there’s no better way to send a smile to your loved ones than with Family Portrait Christmas Cards.

Here’s a Tip for a Great Christmas Portrait…

Think about the things that define your family and consider working those into your portrait. And have some fun with it … a little family chaos is entertaining and authentic:

  • · If your 7-year old is known for his goofy faces, then let him make one. If your 9 year old twins bicker all the time, why not have them play-fighting in the shot?
  • · If you have a favorite Christmas movie, perhaps you could dress up as characters from the movie. Or if your family loves to cook together, how about adding to your outfits with matching oven mitts.

When you personalize your shoot, you’ll end up with a portrait that is unique and special. So go ahead, get creative – talk with your photographer about interesting ways to personalize your photo session this year.

But remember, if traditional is more your style, a classic family portrait is always a beautiful way to send holiday greetings.

At Miko Photography we’re already booking Christmas photography sessions – and whether you go for fun or classic, we’d love to help you make your family portrait special.
