With school just around the corner, we wanted to help prepare you with some tips for your best back to school photos!
Tip #1: Some of the best photos are those that involve no pose, but rather capture every day life and the first few days of school. Walking down the street to the bus stop, or engaging with siblings and friends are just a few ways to do so.
Tip #2: Snap a picture of your child and their new teacher.
Tip #3: Kids get so excited wearing their new back to school clothes. Have them strike a fun pose, and take a picture.
Tip #4: Take a photo of your child outside your house and then Photoshop information onto the picture such as their Name, Grade, Age, Favourite Activity, Favourite Snack, and Favourite Sport (ask your photographer to do this if you don’t know how)
Tip #5: Purchase a sign (such as a chalkboard) and write on it your child’s Name, Age, and what they want to be when they grow up. Have them pose with the picture in hand.
Tip #6: Grab some sidewalk chalk and write your child’s grade on the ground in chalk. Then let them ‘decorate the scene’ and have them lie down beside their creation while you take a photo from above.
Tip #7: Do a comparison photo. Take a photo on the front step the first day of school, and then take another photo on the front step the last day of school. It’s fun to see how they change throughout the year!
