This recent snowfall has reminded me of how quickly Christmas is coming. What an exciting time! What are some of your favourite traditions leading up to the holidays? Between now and the New Year, our family receives an abundance of Christmas cards from family and friends. I love reading their updates, hearing about what they have planned for the upcoming year, and most of all, seeing a family photo with the card.
Each year, your family changes; kids start growing up, and your extended family and loved ones want to visually experience those special transitions in your life. One of the best gifts to give at Christmas is a professional portrait of your family. Keep in mind that there is only a limited number of weeks until Christmas, and that family photos should be booked sooner than later! Book an appointment today to schedule your shoot before spaces fill up.
It’s not too late to book your Christmas photos! Contact Miko Photography today to schedule your photo shoot before time runs out! We want to make sure you have the perfect Christmas card to give to family and friends this year.
Spring is just around the corner!
Ok…for Albertans it may feel as if Spring is never going to come after the bitterly cold winter we have had, but the first day of Spring is just over two weeks away – Yahoo!
If you’ve had difficulty finding the time for a family portrait, then Spring Break could be the perfect time! Easter is also coming up, and if you’re thinking of Easter cards, we’ll be sure they are ready in time to send out! Check out our packages here.
Has a new member joined your family this year? It seems like 2014 has started off with the birth of many babies, and what an exciting time for parents! The first year of a baby’s life is full of precious ‘firsts’ as they are changing daily, and we encourage you to capture those moments so you can cherish them forever. (more…)
It’s so hard to believe my little baby nephew is such a big boy already!
My sister and her family were able to come for a short visit before Christmas and despite the fact that the studio was converted into a guest suite for the weekend we were able to get a few photos of her beautiful little(for now) family. This is the Christmas card I made for her to send out.
So maybe my family that is reading this will smile at her beautiful picture and forgive me for not getting my own Christmas cards out this past year!
’til next time,
